Alleged IS leader killed in air strike in Syria
New Delhi, Jun 14 (IBNS): The Islamic State's alleged leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed during an air raid by the US-led coalition in Syria, according to media reports.
Media reports quoted the IS-affiliated Arabic news agency al-Amaq, which reported that Caliph Baghadadi was killed on Sunday.
Turkish daily Yenis Safak reported that the air strike took place in Raqqa in north Syria, an area that has been under ISIS control for the past few months.
