Ambassadors of Norway, Philippines killed in Pakistan chopper crash

Islamabad, May 8 (IBNS) Ambassador of Philippines Domingo D Lucenario Jr and Ambassador of Norway Leif Larsen along with several others were killed in a helicopter crash in Pakistan's Naltar Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday, said reports.

Reports said among the dead are also the wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors. Two pilots were also killed when the Army helicopter crash-landed.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that Ambassadors of Philippines  and Norway  were among six people killed when the MI-17 helicopter crashed in Naltar Valley.

According to the ISPR, the copter out of three carrying visitors had crash landed in Naltar Valley. There were 11 foreigners and six Pakistani passengers on board.
