American playwright Edward Albee dies
New York, Sept 17 (IBNS): American playwright Edward Albee died at Long Island near New York on Friday, media reports said.
The three-time Pulitzer Prize winner was well-known for his works such as The Zoo Story (1958), The Sandbox (1959), and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1962).
Albee's assistant was quoted as saying by BBC that he died on Friday at his home on Long Island near New York.
