Bangladesh: Bomb explosion hits Pallabi police station, 5 hurt

Dhaka:At least five people were hurt as a bomb exploded in Dhaka's Pallabi Police Station on Tuesday, media reports said.

The hurt people included an inspector.

They were subsequently taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment around 7am Wednesday, Bachchu Mia, an inspector of the hospital's police outpost, told bdnews24.

The injured are Pallabi Police Inspector (Operation) Emranul Islam, SI Rumi, PSI Angkur, 'Shajib' and 'Riyaz', who is not a member of the police force, said Bachchu.

Police arrested three crime suspects with firearms in the early hours of Wednesday, SI Aklima Khanam told the news portal.
