Dhaka, Feb 27 (IBNS): Protesters, who arranged a rally at TSC of the Dhaka University in Bangladesh to protest against the murder of Avijit Roy, on Friday gave 24-hour ultimatum to authorities to arrest the killers of the writer, media reports said.

The protesters comprised of students, teachers and bloggers of the country, which has been witnessing strikes for the past couple of days.

"The agitators accused fundamentalist groups of the killing and slammed the law enforcement agencies for their inaction to arrest the masterminds," The Daily Star reported.
