Bangladesh: Rohingya man killed during gunfight between two criminal gans in Cox's Bazar

Dhaka: In a suspected gunfight between two criminal gangs a Rohingya man was killed in Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar area on Tuesday, media reports said.

The incident reportedly happened in Ukhiya camp.

The deceased was identified as Bashir Ullah, 35, son of Fozu Miah, resident of Block H-32 of Rohingya camp, reports Dhaka Tribune.

The gunfight took place at the camp around 4:30am, said Sheikh Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya police station, confirmed the matter to the newspaper.

Bashir Ullah later died on his way to hospital.
