Bangladesh:11 China returnees test negative for coronavirus

Dhaka/IBNS: Out of the 312 people evacuated from China's Wuhan area by Bangladesh government, 11 of them, who were having high body temperatures, tested negative for the deadly coronavirus.

Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, the director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research, confirmed the matter on Friday to bdnews24.

They underwent medical tests after being found to have high body temperatures and are currently in quarantine at the Combined Military Hospital or CMH, Flora told the news portal.

Over 600 people have died in China since the outbreak of coronavirus.
