Burkina Faso President quits
Ouagadougou, Oct 31 (IBNS) Amid protests, Burkina Faso's President Blaise Compaore has quit his post, media reports said on Friday
"Burkina Faso's President Blaise Compaore has announced his resignation, following violent protests at his attempt to extend his 27-year rule," BBC reported.
According to reports, country's Military chief Gen Honore Traore has taken over as the head of state.
