Canada: RCMP capture three suspects in Manitoba Mountie shooting

Winnipeg, Aug 30 (IBNS): RCMP have captured three suspects in the Manitoba shooting, in which a Mountie (a member of Royal Canadian Mounted Police) was shot in Onanole, media reports said.

The Mountie, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to a hospital.

Confirming the incident, RCMP had tweeted, "#rcmpmb can now confirm a male officer was shot & sustained serious injuries. He remains in hospital. Our thoughts & hearts are with his family. We will provide updates when we can. Thank you all for the support"

All the three suspects are in custody.

The police are still investigating whether anyone else is involved in the incident.

RCMP will hold a press conference at 10 am.
