Vancouver, Dec 12 (IBNS): A Canadian court on Tuesday granted bail to arrested Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou.

Meng Wanzhou was arrested in Canada on Dec 1.

She was facing extradition to the USA.

According to reports, the Chinese tech giant's chief was accused of helping Huawei circumvent US sanctions on Iran.

Meng has denied all charges against her.

The court has, meanwhile, directed Meng to reappear before it on Feb 6.

After the ruling, Huawei issued a statement which was quoted by BBC as saying: "We have every confidence that the Canadian and US legal systems will reach a just conclusion."
