Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah condemns Brussels blasts

Kabul, Mar 22 (IBNS)Chief Executive of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah on Tuesday condemned the militant attack in Brussels which killed more than 30 people.

“I strongly condemn the explosions in #Brussels. I offer my sympathies & condolences to those affected by these incidents.,” Abdullah said in an online statement posted on Twitter account.

 

The Islamic State  claimed responsibility for the attack in Belgium capital Brussels which left more than 30 people killed and scores others injured on Tuesday, media reports said.

 

The city of Brussels was on Tuesday hit by three blasts, targeting the airport and a metro station, that left at least 31 people killed and 100 others injured, reports said.

 

Twin blasts hit Zaventem airport  which killed at least 11 people and injured 81 others, reports said.

 

The third blast occurred at Maelbeek metro station later which left at least 20 dead.
