China: Coal mine explosion kills 11
Beijing, Nov 27 (IBNS) At least 11 people were killed in a coal mine explosion in southwest China's Guizhou Province Thursday, media reports said.
"The accident happened in Songlin coal mine in Songhe Town of Pan County. When the mine exploded, 19 people were working underground and eight of them managed to survive," Xinhua news agency reported.
Rescue operation is still going on, reports said.
The cause of the explosion is currently being investigated.
