Dawood Ibrahim hospitalised in Karachi: Reports

| @indiablooms | Dec 18, 2023, at 05:27 pm

Karachi/IBNS/UNI: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has been hospitalised due to a heath complication in Pakistan's Karachi, media reports said.

Dawood was hospitalised a couple of days ago.

He is kept under tight security inside the hospital.

Only his close family members and two hospital authorities are given the access, India Today report said.

It is speculated that Dawood was poisoned but no official sources have yet confirmed it.

The ISI-backed Dawood is the mastermind of the March 12, 1993 serial blasts, which claimed 257 lives, injured 713 others, and damaged property to the tune of several crores.

The Mumbai Police were trying to gain more information on the hospitalisation of the underworld don from his relatives.

The Indian authorities are looking for Dawood, a disignated global terrorist.

He is based in Karachi and often shuttles to the Gulf.

The shroud of secrecy surrounding his health has raised questions and heightened intrigue about the circumstances leading to his current condition.
