Donald Trump reaches Vietnam for meeting with Kim Jong Un

Hanoi, Feb 26 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump has reached Vietnam for his second meeting with North Korea leader Kim Jong Un.

"Just arrived in Vietnam. Thank you to all of the people for the great reception in Hanoi. Tremendous crowds, and so much love!" tweeted Trump.

The North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had reached earlier the same day.

The second meeting between the two leaders will take place after the crucial first one which was held in Singapore last year in June.

"Mr Kim's green and yellow train pulled into Dong Dang station, and he has already begun the final leg of his journey to Hanoi by car," reported BBC.

The British media further reported that the ceremonial guards and flag-waving crowds lined a red carpet laid out for him at the station.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Feb 27 and 28.

Meanwhile, Trump said he is expecting to participate in a 'very productive' meeting with Kim.

"Heading over to Vietnam for my meeting with Kim Jong Un. Looking forward to a very productive Summit!," he had tweeted.
