Former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari returns to nation

Islamabad, Dec 23 (IBNS): Formenr Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari returned to Pakistan after 18 months on Friday, media reports said.

According to local media reports, he returned to Pakistan in a private jet from Dubai.

He was quoted as saying by Dawn News:  "I remember the day when BB came here and you were here to welcome her. Bibi is here with us, Shaheed Zulfiqar is here with us."

The Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) said he has brought hope to the nation.

"There is a lot of dismay at the moment in the country but I do not have a plan of dismay, I have brought the message of hope," he said.
