Gas explosion in Paris building, many casualties

Paris, Apr. 1 (IBNS) A massive explosion rocked a building a central Paris on Friday, causing numerous casualties, Daily Mail reported.
The cause of the blast may have been a gas explosion, the report said.

The building is on the Rue d’Uzes, close to the Paris Stock Exchange building. 

Around 140 firefighters were on the scene to rescue the  victims from the building, which also housed offices. 
 
Details of the incident are still awaited.
