Helicopter believed to be carrying Leicester City owner crashes

London, Oct 28 (IBNS): The Leicester City owner's helicopter has crashed in a car park outside the club's ground after it left the ground following a premier league match featuring the English club.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter when it came down at about 20:30 BST on Saturday, a source close to the family has told the BBC.

The exact number of people who were inside the helicopter during the crash is not known.

The club said it is assisting police and emergency services.

A club spokesperson was quoted as saying in an official tweet: "We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium. The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established."
