Hindu businessman gunned down by unknown attackers in Pakistan's Kalat town

Unknown gunmen shot dead a Hindu businessman, who was running a wine store in  Kalat town in Pakistan, on Monday.

The deceased businessman was identified as Leila Ram.

Police told Dawn News that Ram was sitting in his wine store when armed men on motorbikes opened fire with automatic weapons, killing him on the spot.

His grandson Kirtan Kumar was injured in the incident.

Police rushed to the spot and took the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The attackers escaped the spot after firing.

“We are investigating the incident,” a senior police officer told Dawn News.

The cause of the attack is still not known.
