Belgrade, Serbia/IBNS: The Pakistan embassy in Serbia on Friday openly criticized the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for not paying salary to the embassy staff for the last three months.

"With inflation breaking all previous records, how long do you expect @ImranKhanPTI that we government officials will remain silent and keep working for you without been paid for past three months and our children been forced out of school due to non payment of fees," the Pak embassy in Serbia posted with a video on its verified Twitter account on Friday, hitting out at the government leaders in Islamabad.

"Is this #NayaPakistan?" it asked the Pak government.

In another tweet, the embassy wrote: "I am sorry @ImranKhanPTI, am not left with another option."

Pakistan's November inflation, which is measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), has risen to 11.5 percent from 9.2 percent, the highest spike in the last 20 months.
