Ireland: Blast hits petrol station, 3 die

Dublin:  At least three people died as an explosion rocked a petrol station in Co Donegal city of Ireland on Friday.

It happened at an Applegreen petrol station in the village of Creeslough on Friday afternoon, reports BBC.

A large number of people are currently being treated as they were injured due to the blast.

Gardaí (Irish police) told BBC it was an ongoing operation and they were not able to provide more information on casualties at this time.

Saolta Group tweeted: "#Letterkenny University Hospital is dealing with a serious incident involving multiple injured people."
