Kabul, Aug 17 (IBNS): ISIS militant group has taken responsibility for the suicide attack in Afghanistan's Kabul city which targeted an education center in the city recently, media reports said on Friday.

Rita Katz, Director of SITE Intelligence Group , tweeted: "Within 24-hours in #Kabul #Afghanistan, #isis claimed killing and wounding over 310 people between suicide attacks on a Hazara private school (media reports 34 killed, 67 wounded) & Afghan intel HQ (casualty counts still coming in)."

Meanwile,  The perpetrators of Wednesday’s “heinous” suicide bombing that killed students at an education centre in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, must be brought to justice, the UN Secretary-General has said.

Nearly 50 people were killed in the attack which António Guterres has condemned in the strongest terms, according to a statement issued on Thursday by his spokesman.

Most were teenagers studying for university entrance exams.

“Those responsible for this heinous attack must be held accountable. The targeting of civilians, in particular children, is unacceptable,” the statement said.
