The Balochistan Liberation Army's media wing Hakkal has revealed a 35-minute-long chilling video documenting the hijacking of the Jaffar Express in Pakistan's Balochistan region in March.

The group is demanding secession of Balochistan from Pakistan.

The separatist group had hijacked the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express on March 11 after blowing up the railway tracks.

The operation continued for two days.

Pakistan had claimed the BLA had suffered heavy losses in the operation, which the video contradicts.

The video showed the BLA members planning the operation, undergoing training and receiving combat briefing before storming the express, an episode that left the nation shocked.

As many as 26 hostages, including 18 security personnel, died after Jaffar Express train was hijacked by insurgents in Sibi area in March.

Five security personnel were killed during the operation.
