Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa appointed as Pakistan Army Chief

Islamabad, Nov 26 (IBNS): Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has been appointed as the new chief of Pakistani Army, media reports said.

He will step into the shoes of current chief Raheel Sharif.

Lt Gen Zubair Hayat will be the next CJCSC of the country.

"Both generals would take up their new posts from Tuesday, the day the current army chief Raheel Sharif retires," Dawn News reported.
