Toronto, Sept 21 (IBNS): According to Police a man in his twenty’s has been admitted in the hospital following a stabbing incident at the Eaton Center mall in downtown Toronto.

A spokeswoman says police got the call at 2:19 pm, Tuesday regarding a stabbing inside the Eaton Centre.

Constable Jen Sidhu says, “The stabbing took place inside mall. The victim was stabbed multiple times.”

She further adds, “Officers responded to the scene and located a male suspect outside the mall.”  The suspect was arrested on Queen St. and a weapon was recovered from him.

The stabbing victim was soon transported to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries, said the police.
