Quetta: Students of Balochistan University on Tuesday protested against the disappearance of two fellow students and locked the institution's gates.

The protesting students also boycotted ongoing MA and MSc examinations and announced they will keep the seat of learning closed until the missing persons are recovered.

Two students, who have been identified as Sohail Baloch and Safi Baloch, went missing several days ago.

Students belonging to different factions of the Baloch Student Organisation (BSO) locked gates of their university and announced that no student would take the semester examinations, reports Dawn News.

The protesting students did not allow teachers and other students to enter the institute.

Speaking at a press conference, BSO leaders Baloch Qadir and Zubair Baloch were quoted as saying by Dawn News that Sohail Baloch and Safi Baloch had been missing for the last several days, but the university administration had taken no action in this regard.
