Karachi, July 18 (IBNS): The cleric Mufti Abdul Qavi, who had appeared in a video with Qandeel Baloch, will be included in the murder investigation of the Pakistani model.

"We have decided to include Mufti Abdul Qavi in the murder investigation," said CPO Azhar Ikram, the police chief in Multan where Baloch was killed, was quoted as saying by Geo News.

Baloch was laid to rest in Pakistan's Dera Ghazi Khan area on Sunday, media reports said.

"Relatives and a large number of local residents attended Qandeel's funeral prayers in Shah Sadar Din village, around 130 kilometers from Multan," Geo News reported.

Baloch's brother has confessed to have murdered his sister in Multan, reports said.

Her brother, Waseem Azeem, was arrested Sunday.

According to reports, he killed his sister for "family honor" as she posted "shameful" pictures on Facebook.

Baloch was shot dead in Multan on Saturday by her brother.

Baloch, who for more than once was caught in controversies, was once married and left behind a young son.
