Nepal bus mishap kills 18

Jumla, Mar 16 (IBNS): At least 18 people were killed as a passenger bus dropped 200 metres down the road in Nepal's in Jumla district on Monday, media reports said.

The bus was on its way from Nagma of Kalikot when the mishap occurred.

The passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 4970) heading toward Nagma of Kalikot from Jumla district headquarters fell around 200 metres down the road, Inspector Indra Bahadur Saud of Jumla District Police Office told The Himalayan Times.

The injured people are undergoing treatment Jumla-based Karnali Institute of Health Sciences while those critically injured have been airlifted to  in Kohalpur Medical College.
