Nigel Farage stands down as UKIP leader

| | Jul 04, 2016, at 09:38 pm
London, July 4 (IBNS): In a major development, Nigel Farage on Monday stood down as the leader of the UK Independence Party.
"Thank you to all my supporters in @UKIP and beyond. Delighted with the result we fought for so long to achieve. #BrexitBritain," he tweeted.

Nigel made the move days after Britain voted to leave European Union.

Despite a close battle, Britain has voted (52 percent) to leave the European Union in a historic referendum whose results were declared recently, thus severing a tie of decades and dealing a blow to the European unity.
