No survivors from Alaska mid-air collision say rescuers
Bethel (Alaska), Sep 1 (IBNS): Alaska State Troopers who were searching for survivors following the mid-air collision between two small commercial planes said that none of the five travelling in the planes have survived, according to media reports on Thursday.
The two planes, a Piper PA-18 Super Cub and a Hageland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan collided mid-air on Wednesday above a Yukon River village, about six miles northwest of Russian Mission and some 60 miles from the Southwest Alaska hub of Bethel, media reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
