Obama pledges support to LGBT community, floats #LoveIsLove tweet

Washington, Jun 9 (IBNS): US President Barack Obama on Wednesday, pledged his support towards the LGBT community, by tweeting about equal dignity with the hashtag Love Is Love.

"Be proud of how far we've come—and continue to push for progress. #LoveIsLove," Obama wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Urging fellow citizens to be proud of their achievement, the US President said, "During Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month, as Americans wave their flags of pride high and march boldly forward in parades and demonstrations, let us celebrate how far we have come and reaffirm our steadfast belief in the equal dignity of all Americans."
