Pakistan: 10 killed in blast
Peshawar, Jan 19 (IBNS) A bomb explosion near a security checkpost situated close to the Karkhano Market area in Pakistan killed at least 10 people on Tuesday, media reports said.
The explosion left 20 others injured.
"Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Fazlullah group claimed responsibility for the attack,"Dawn News reported.
"Although the exact nature of the blast is being ascertained, it appears to be a suicide attack," political agent Khyber Agency Shahab Ali Shah was quoted as saying by the news paper.
