Pakistan: 6 militants killed during police shootout

Lahore, Apr 6 (IBNS) During a police shootout, at least six people have been killed in Saggian Bridge area of Lahore on Wednesday, media reports said.

All the deceased are suspected terrorists.

"Police reached the spot on a tip off and began a house to house search, when terrorists hiding in a house opened fire at them," Geo News reported.

Four managed to  flee from the spot.

The slain terrorists belonged Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Ustad Aslam group, police was quoted as saying to Geo News.
