Baloch activists are blaming the Pakistan Army is using “excessive force” against civilians when they intensify their search to find six young footballers abducted in the Dera Bugti area of Pakistan's Balochistan region.

The footballers have been moved to unknown locations.

Azizullah Bugti posted on X: "A Large Number of Baloch human Rights activists including women & children participated in a protest rally in Quetta against #pakistan armed forces barbarism in Many areas of Dera Bugti . Pakistani army along with her local death-squads members headed by so-called Interior Minister @PakSarfrazbugti are busy in a massive army operation in dera Bugti."

In a X post,  Baloch Republican Party (BRP)'s Media Cell said, "On Day 6 of Pakistan Army's #MilitaryOperationInDeraBugti, Balochistan, the situation remains grim. Local residents' vehicles seized, and their cattle looted. Families compelled to abandon their homes, with Asreli and Darinjan among the affected areas. Urgent attention needed for civilians affected by this operation.

Sher Mohammad Bugti, the spokesperson of BRP, wrote: "Baloch Human Rights activists held a protest against ongoing military operations in #DeraBugti , #Balochistan by the Pakistani armed forces. It worth mentioning that it has been 7 days that army has launched an offensive , dozens of civilians hv been abducted , 5 killed & many areas of Dera bugti including Sui , Uch and Zain kho are still under the army siege."
