Pakistan: Blast kills 24

Islamabad, Apr 9 (IBNS) A blast at a fruit market near Pir Wadhai town in Rawalpindi district of Pakistan left at least 24 people dead and more than 115 people injured on Wednesday, reports said.

According to reports, militant outfit United Baloch Army (UBA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.

" United Baloch Army (UBA) – a separatist militant outfit in Balochistan – has claimed responsibility of the deadly terrorist attack in Sabzi Mandi area of the capital city that killed at least 24 people and wounded more than 115 on Wednesday," Dawn News reported.

Police and rescue teams  reached the site of the blast after it occurred.
