Pakistan: Boat capsizes with wedding party, 17 killed

Multan, Sept 14 (IBNS): At least 17 people were killed as the boat in which they were travelling capsized in Sher Shah area in Pakistan's Multan district on Sunday, media reports said.

The boat was carrying a wedding party.

"The bride groom named Zahid Shah is also among the deceased while the bride has been rescued from the water," Geo News reported.

Rescuers are searching for other passengers who are missing following the mishap.
