Islamabad, Oct 29 (IBNS): At least five people were killed as unidentified gunmen opened fire at a Majlis taking place at a house at Karachi city's Nazimabad area in Pakistan on Saturday, media reports said.

According to reports, four gunmen, riding on two motorcycles, fired  indiscriminately at the Majlis.

"The men came on motorcycles around 6PM. We had set up a tent as seating arrangements for men while the women were inside for the majlis. One of the men came inside the tent and opened indiscriminate fire," one of the eyewitnesses told Geo News.

The Majlis was taking place at the residence of a man who was identified as Dr Asad.
