Lahore, May 27 (IBNS): In an apparent case of 'honour killing', a woman was stoned to death by her father and brothers outside the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday, media reports said.

The police said the victim, who was identified as Farzana, had  married Iqbal of Jaranwala against the choice of her parents a few months ago.

She was a resident of Faisalabad.

"Farzana and Iqbal were on their way to court to record her statement when she was attacked by her father and brothers outside the LHC premises and beaten to death with stones," Geo News reported.

"Police arrested Farzana's father but her brothers escaped from the scene," the Pakistan-based news channel said.
