London, May 27 (IBNS): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is currently in London, has extended his stay in the city, media reports said.

He is likely to return on Sunday.

He is visiting London for medical check-up.

PM House Spokesperson Mohiuddin Wani confirmed to DawnNews that “Nawaz Sharif will be staying for another day in London on the advice of doctors.”

Mohiuddin Wani declined reports that the PM will visit New York for advanced treatment.

"There is no such plan on the cards," Wani was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
