Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Wednesday protested  against the rising terrorism in the province, media reports said.

The police force protested in front of the Peshawar Press Club. This is the first time in history that the province’s police has protested against terrorism, reports ANI.

A video has gone viral where a group of police could be heard raising slogans over the issue.

At least 100 people, mostly policemen, were killed this week due to a blast which took place inside a mosque in Peshawar city.

The mosque is located in Peshawar’s Red Zone area.

The outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, Dawn News reported.
