Islamabad, Dec 9 (IBNS): Police on Sunday said two Chinese nationals were arrested during a raid at an illegal alcohol factory in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad.

During the raid, police recovered beer of various brands and machinery to brew the alcohol.

The two suspects were producing as well as selling alcohol of various brands, the police spokesperson told Dawn News.

The Chinese nationals were arrested by the police after they failed to produce a licence or permit to run the brewery.

A first information report (FIR) was registered against the duo under Section 3/4 of Prohibition (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance 1979 at the Shalimar police station, reported Dawn News.
