Pakistan records over 4000 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

Islamabad: Pakistan is once against witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases as daily case count crossed 4,000 for the first time in two months Wednesday.

According to reports, 4,119 fresh infections were registered in the past 24 hours.

The country last recorded more than 4,000 cases in a single day on May 22, reports Geo News.

In the past 24 hours, 44 people died due to COVID-19.

The positivity rate, too, went up again. The current rate is 7.8%, the news channel reported.
