Kalat: At least two security officials were killed and three others hurt  in a roadside explosion in the Johan area of Pakistan's Kalat district on Friday.

Levies officials said unidentified people planted an improvised explosive device (IED) by the roadside and detonated it by remote control while the security personnel were passing through the area in a vehicle, reports Dawn News.

Security forces reached the spot after the incident.

Ziaullah Langove, the chief minister’s adviser on home and tribal affairs, condemned the IED blast and expressed his grief over the martyrdom of two security personnel.
