Pakistan: Security forces kill 2 terrorists

Islamabad: Two terrorists were killed during an Intelligence Based Operation conducted by the Pakistan Army security personnel in  South Waziristan district, Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The terrorists were identified as Usman Ali and Waheed alias Lashtai.

"Security Forces conducted Intelligence Based Operation in Nargosa area of South Waziristan district. During intense fire two terrorists Usman Ali and Waheed alias Lashtai were killed and one got injured and apprehended," read a statement issued by the ISPR.

"Killed terrorists were active members of TTP Sajna group and were IED experts, terrorist trainers, motivator and were involved in attacks on security forces. Terrorist Usman was also involved in the attack on security forces on 14 October 2020 in which Capt Umer Cheema, 2 JCOs and 3 Soldiers embraced shahadat while 4 were injured," read the statement.
