Islamabad: The Afghanistan Embassy in Pakistan has said Islamabad will provide professional training to the Afghan aviation staff in areas of security, traffic controlling, firefighting, air forecast, and airport management, media reports said on Wednesday.

A statement that was released by the Afghan embassy on Tuesday said the bilateral agreement in this regard was reached during the visit of Afghanistan’s foreign minister Amir Khan Motaqi to that country, reports Khaama Press.

Kabul and Islamabad even agreed to conduct ten flights every week between both capitals.

“The number of seats will be increased from 1,000 to 1,500 and planes will be able to fly from any airport of Pakistan to Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kandahar," the statement read.
