Islamabad, Feb 17 (IBNS): A top Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militant was killed during an intelligence-led operation in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Swat region on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, Bakhat Raj alias Asadullah was the financier of the militant outfit.

A security official, on condition of anonymity, told Dawn News that Bakhat Raj financed the group's terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Buner district and the port city of Karachi.

"Security forces are carrying out intelligence-driven operations across Pakistan during which a number of important militants have been rounded up," Dawn News reported.
