At least four people died and another was injured after allegedly unidentified armed men opened fire on a house in Paksitan's Panjgur town on Monday.

Police told Dawn News that unknown attackers targeted the house of one Ghulam Sarwar on Monday night, using automatic weapons, leaving him, his two sons, Islam and Nizam, and another man, identified as Ali Ahmed, dead.

Another man, Shah Mohammad, a resident of Quetta, sustained bullet injuries during the attack, the police said.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a hospital.

Later, they were handed over to family members.

The police said the motive behind the attack is still not clear.
