Pakistan: Unidentified individuals gun down cop in Peshawar

An unidentified individuals gunned down a police constable in Pakha Ghulam area on the outskirts of Pakistan's Peshawar city on Saturday, media reports said.

The attackers escaped the spot following the attack.

Police told The Express Tribune that Constable Ihtesham Khan Durrani, a resident of Pakha Ghulam, had visited his cousin’s residence in Akbarpura, Nowshera along with his friend Umair at 11 o’clock on Friday night.

Unidentified men attacked him near his home when he was returning to his residence at 3 am in the morning.

According to the preliminary investigation by the police, the deceased had been hit by a bullet from behind, read the Pakistani newspaper.
