Pakistan: Van hit by train, 8 killed

Islamabad, Feb 15 (IBNS) At least eight people were killed as a van was hit by Lahore-bound Fareed Express close to the near Allah Dino Saand railway station in Pakistan on Sunday, media reports said.

The mishap occurred  at an unmanned railway crossing.

Four others were injured in the incident.

The Director General of Health Services, Sindh, Dr Hassan Murad Shah, told Dawn that seven bodies and the four injured were taken to Tando Jam taluka hospital.

The critically injured were later taken to the Liaquat University Hospital.
