Russian envoy to Turkey killed in gun attack in Ankara
Ankara, Dec 19 (IBNS): Russian Ambassador to Ankara in Turkey was on Monday shot dead in a gun attack at an art gallery in the capital city, media reports said.
According to reports, the gunman while attacking the envoy shouted "Don't forget Aleppo."
Envoy Andrei Karlov was confirmed dead by a Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman.
The gunman, who was dressed in black suit and tie, has been reportedly "neutralised" after the attack.
