Sudden increase in corona cases is deeply unsettling: Shehbaz Sharif

| @indiablooms | May 26, 2020, at 10:32 pm

Islamabad/IBNS: PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has said if a strategy was in place at the time of the imposition of lockdown or when the decision was taken to lift it then the number of Coronavirus cases in the country would not have increased at a rapid speed.

He said sudden increase in COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is deeply 'unsettling'.

"Sudden increase in corona cases is deeply unsettling but was expected given confused policy of this incompetent & directionless Govt. from day one. High time that current approach was reviewed at CCI. Further delay will be catastrophic & God forbid, may result in loss of lives!" he tweeted.

The political leader of the country made the statement as Pakistan registered 58457 COVID-19 cases.

The country witnessed 1210 deaths so far.
